About Damian
Hi, I’m Damian Adams—a passionate musician and educator dedicated to helping others grow through music. I started playing guitar at fourteen, and since then, I’ve explored a range of instruments including bass, piano, and drums. This diverse background has shaped my approach to both performing and teaching.
I earned my Associate of Arts in Music from Las Positas College and am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Studies and Composition at San Jose State University. I’m honored to continue my education with the support of the Barbara Fracisco Mertes Scholarship.
Teaching is something I truly enjoy. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time or looking to advance your skills, I strive to create a welcoming, supportive learning environment tailored to your goals and interests. My aim is to make music education both inspiring and accessible for students of all ages.
Outside of music, I love reading, illustrating, hiking, gaming, and watching movies. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting your musical journey!
