About Cai
Hello there! My name is Cai Wang, and I am thrilled to share my love of music as a piano instructor. I began my musical studies as a child in China, where piano became my primary instrument. After reaching advanced levels during my formative years, I moved to the U.S. and earned an M.A. in Music from Mills College in Oakland.
I have a special passion for working with young beginners, as I find each child’s imagination and unique perspective on musical sound truly inspiring. My experience as a teaching assistant at Las Positas College, where I supported group piano classes, gave me valuable insight into how students develop technique and repertoire.
I believe music connects us to art, beauty, and joy, becoming an integral part of who we are. Studying music not only enhances our minds but also fills our lives with happiness. I can’t wait to help you explore the world of music and grow on your musical journey!
