We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the California Arts Council and the City of San Ramon for their generous sponsorship of our non-profit program. Additionally, we are immensely grateful for the support provided by Associated Chamber Music Players (ACMP). ACMP’s mission to stimulate and expand the playing of chamber music aligns perfectly with our own goals of making music education accessible to individuals of all backgrounds, ages, and skill levels. Their support, alongside that of our generous private donors, enables us to fulfill our mission through outreach efforts, scholarships, concerts, and more across the Bay Area.
Affording chamber music classes in addition to private instrumental lessons can be a financial burden for many families. To make our program more accessible, our ensemble is a scholarship-based class, in order to make the course available to more students, and an integral part of the arts community in San Ramon and surrounding cities.

Our goal is to nurture the next generation of classical musicians by building confidence, discipline, and a sense of belonging.
An integral part of our mission at the San Ramon Chamber Ensemble is to give back to the community and support inclusivity and diversity within the realm of classical music. We do regular workshops in our local San Ramon community but also extend our efforts to the greater Bay Area.
We believe that everyone, regardless of background, should have the opportunity to experience and participate in the transformative power of music. To this end, we have initiated a series of outreach efforts aimed at bringing music workshops and presentations to elementary schools in the Oakland and Alameda areas. These initiatives are designed not just to entertain, but to educate and inspire the next generation of musicians and music lovers.
In pursuit of these goals, we are thrilled to partner with the Bay Area Music Project (BAMP), an organization that shares our commitment to fostering musical education among youth in underserved communities. Together, we are working to create engaging and interactive experiences for students, introducing them to both the joys and the discipline of music. Through this collaboration, we aim to provide a platform for children to explore their musical talents and interests, while also promoting a broader appreciation for the rich and diverse world of classical music. This partnership is a testament to our dedication to creating a more inclusive and vibrant musical future.
The San Ramon Chamber Ensemble is led by our experienced educators and professional musicians. We are dedicated to providing classical chamber music education to young musicians in the East Bay area.
Founded by class co-creator James Daly, a BIPOC piano teacher, commissioned composer, and business owner, who brings a unique perspective to classical music education. The class is co taught by the venerable Isaac Levine, the head of strings at San Ramon Academy of Music. Both are excited to continue growing the program with more musicians and more ensemble groupings.
