About Lauren
Hello there! My name is Lauren, and I hail from the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area. I have an extensive background in various facets of the music industry, specializing in piano performance, composition, and music production. I graduated from The San Francisco Conservatory with a degree in Technology & Applied Composition and earned a master certification from Berklee College of Music in Writing & Production.
As both a private and public educator, I am passionate about fostering the individual growth of musical artistry in my students. I see myself as a music mentor, confidant, and personal advocate for each of them. I am also a certified Smart Start Instructor by the Royal Conservatory of Music.
In my free time, I love cooking family recipes from my Nicaraguan culture and hiking or camping in the beautiful mountains of Santa Cruz. I also studied music at Cabrillo College, where I co-led the 88keys piano collective and performed in various events at UCSC. As a dedicated artist and passionate musician, I look forward to sharing my love for music with you and supporting your musical journey!
