About Derek
Hi, I’m Derek Jensen! I’ve been playing piano for most of my life, and my passion for music hasn’t stopped growing since I’ve started. I believe in creating a welcoming space in which students are encouraged to really connect with the music they are playing at a fundamental level. I hope to connect with as many people as I can musically, and enrich students’ lives through the piano.
I’m currently a music student focusing on jazz at Las Positas Community College in Livermore. When I’m not at the piano, I enjoy making art, reading, and watching movies. I look forward to making musical connections and watching you progress along your journey!
