About Siya
I’m Siya Sampige, and I’m thrilled to be a part of the academy. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Piano was my first love once I started playing, I couldn’t stop. Soon after, I decided to invest in my love for singing as well, performing in choirs and musicals.
I’m currently pursuing my Associate’s Degree in Music at Las Positas College, specializing in vocal jazz. I’m passionate about helping students build their skills both vocally and on the piano, while also encouraging them to explore their own musical interests. I know how intimidating it can feel to step into the musical world for the first time, so I value creating a judgment-free environment where students can grow with confidence.
Outside of teaching, I love exploring music from different cultures and languages like French pop and K-pop along with writing poetry and dabbling in graphic design.
Music is something I take to heart, and I’m committed to guiding each student with care, patience, and enthusiasm. I can’t wait to work with you and help bring out your best musical self!
