About Grace
Hello! My name is Eunbok (Grace) Park, and I’m so excited to work with your child as they explore the world of piano. With nearly 20 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with students of all ages and levels—from beginners taking their first steps in music to advanced players preparing for competitions and recitals. My goal is always to help each student grow, achieve their goals, and most importantly, find joy in making music.
I began my own musical journey in South Korea and moved to the U.S. at 17 to study piano. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from Brooklyn College Conservatory, where I had the honor of winning the Brooklyn College Piano Competition and performing with their orchestra. I later earned my Master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music and continued performing at festivals like the Merano Music Festival in Italy.
Since moving to California in 2007, I’ve been an active performer and teacher, working with students through recitals, level tests, and competitions as a member of MTAC (Music Teacher’s Association of California). I strive to create lessons that are engaging and tailored to each child’s unique needs, helping them build confidence, discipline, and a love for music.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy painting, quilting, baking, and exploring the Sierra Nevada mountains with my husband. I would love the opportunity to share my passion for music with your child and help them flourish as a young musician!

“I didn’t want my son to be turned off to piano because of all the practicing. Lots of work but not a ton of play. James brings enthusiasm and joy to the discipline. He picked up my son’s style and personality, and could flow according to my son’s uniqueness/playfulness.”

“My biggest concern is if my kids don’t enjoy and have no progress over a significant amount of lessons time. So far your role as a teacher has been very helpful in making my kids interested & focused on their lessons”
