About Regina
Hi, I’m Regina Magpoc and I’m so glad you’re here! Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to share that passion with others, especially young musicians just beginning their journey. I started playing piano at age 11, and my love for music has only grown since then.
While piano was my first instrument, I’ve since expanded to electric and upright bass which are now my main focus as well as flute, French horn, and various percussion instruments. Each instrument has given me a unique perspective on music, and I love helping students explore and discover what excites them the most.
I earned my Associate of Arts in Music and a Certificate in Jazz Studies from Las Positas College in Spring 2025, and I currently tutor music theory and piano classes there. I’m also continuing my own education, working toward additional certificates in piano and business.
Outside of music, I enjoy reading, drawing, and cooking anything creative that brings a little more joy into the day. I look forward to helping your child grow their confidence and creativity through music!
